Through our established friendships, The Wine Stash sources its grapes exclusively from premium vineyards that display superior attributes relative to a particular vintage. We believe that having more than one option allows us to truly be selective.
Winemaker
Jason Ball of Brick Angel wines serves as the consultant winemaker for The Wine Stash. After a chance meeting with up and coming winemaker Jason, and tasting Jason’s offerings, The Wine Stash knew they found the right person to guide them through the winemaking process. Like The Wine Stash’s owners, Jason shares a vision of giving wines the opportunity to reach their true potential and has a track record of producing superior handcrafted wines that are rich in flavor and deep in complexity.

Crisp, herbal Roussanne; rich, citrus blossom Viognier; fresh, lemon zest Picpoul de Pinet blended to produce a medium-bodied white wine of exceptional balance and complexity. This unique combination creates heavenly honeysuckle aromas and delicate sweetness of a stone free white peach that’s sure to satisfy and surprise. The crisp, lingering finish could accompany sweet, meaty lobster or fresh West Coast oysters. Serve cold.

Intriguing Cabernet grapes sourced from vineyards in Carneros and Mt. Veeder blend cool, long hang time and bold mountain concentration. A small amount of syrah and merlot rounds out the mid-palate, bringing out notes of cherry, black olive, licorice and leather. Our first red wine was made to age over time, a subtle wine that requires a refined palette to fully appreciate. This wine invites you to take your time and allow it to unfold. Start with Manchego cheese and Italian prosciutto and move on to a mouthwatering porterhouse grilled to your liking.

The Wine Stash 2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
This handcrafted wine exemplifies the virtues of slowing down and taking the time to do it right. The grapes were sourced through Godspeed Vineyards, an artisan grower in the Mt. Veeder Appellation of the Napa Valley situated at an altitude of 1,500 ft. The wine aged gracefully for 38 months in new French oak barrels that were selected from specific forests for their unique characteristics. The final result is a cabernet sauvignon of incredible depth and complexity. Dark garnet color coats the glass. Cedar and black cherries on the nose. A powerful blast up front releases into an elegant balance of fruit and smooth well integrated tannins that linger for a full satisfying finish. This full bodied cab can be enjoyed on its own or paired with crumbled blue cheese topped filet mignon, sesame chicken or a fine Cohiba. Decant or pop the cork and drink as is.

The Wine Stash 2010 Sauvignon Blanc
This wine is made in a dry, light bodied style and is refreshingly low in alcohol. Our Sauvignon Blanc grapes were family farmed on a vineyard in the heart of Napa Valley’s Rutherford AVA, which is an area well known for producing exceptional Sauvignon Blancs. Beautiful aromas and vibrant fruit flavors combine with light acidic crispness to round out a delicate airy finish for this wine. Ultimately…delicious. Serve chilled with sushi, ceviche, oysters on the half shell, or a freshly tossed caesar salad.
